This has all the wonderful, velvet softness that you expect of Merlot, with ever so much more personality. On the nose, the rounded, supple fruit gains complexity from a roasted pepper and herbal character. The texture is beautifully supple, and the tannin is really refined. A lovely wine with excellent balance.
