This 25 year old from Bellevue was column distilled at Damoiseau distillery (on the Bellevue au Moule estate) in Guadeloupe in 1998. The cask was then shipped to the UK in 2000 to continue maturing. Nose: Lots of dried fruits, balanced by a herbal edge. Aniseed, cinnamon and nutmeg come through. Palate: Thick and oily mouthfeel with blackcurrants, damson jam, sticky buns and oak.
