Vallado Sousao douro red 2021 Vintage:21 SOUSAO DOURO RED made from AlvarinhoThis is Vallado's take on Souso (Souzo) a dry red wine out of Portugal from the 2021 vintage. Souso is a deeply colored, high acid Portuguese red grape that adds vivid color and freshness to Port and Douro reds. It's grown on the steep, terraced schist slopes of the Douro Valley the breathtaking river region that gave the world Port. Pour it with grilled steak, lamb or a slow cooked stew and it'll feel right at home. Best enjoyed at cool room
